Director Steve McQueen’s five part series about the West Indian community in London is a feat of storytelling and filmmaking. Each storyline is layered, each frame is gorgeously shot. I think about the party scene in Lovers Rock (episode 2) on a weekly basis. And the soundtrack is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
